Enter the name of your event. For example, “Birthday Party”, “Garage Sale – Everything must Go”, “Pay It Forward Sale”, “Going out of business sale”, “Ribbon Cutting – Jones Shoes”, and so on. Be descriptive, but don’t be overly wordy.

If this is a recurring event, check box next to “This is a recurring event”, and see the next section of this FAQ for information. Otherwise, simply click in the “Event Dates” field and then: for a one day event, click on the Date in the Date Picker. For an event that spans several days, click the Start Date and End Date in the Date Picker. Next, check “All Day” for an all day event, or select the Start and End times.

If this is a recurring event, check box next to “This is a recurring event”. Select the recurrence date range (the range of dates that start with the first date of the event and end with the last date of the event.) Next, fill in the Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly option. Fill out the number of days and time as you do for normal events.

You can choose a physical location or a URL. For physical locations, you can select any previous location using the dropdown, or you can add new locations. For URLs, you would enter the entire event URL (e.g. https://yourdomainname.com) and the link text that visitors will see when they see the link.

The Details entry section contains elements for a complete description of the event, information about the Event Organizer, and a dropdown to select the event’s category. Your description can use the WYSIWYG element to enter a stylized description, include bold, underline, italics, and even links to websites with more information. The Event Organizer field is a text field, so you can include information about the organizer, such as company, organizer name, and phone#. The Catagory is a dropdown – select the closest match.

You can add images to your event as well (in fact, you should). Click “Browse” to locate an image on your computer, then click “Open” to add it to your event. Images are limited to 700px and 2Mb.
